Malaysia explores importing Indonesian cows 



Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Mohd Najib bin Tun Abdul Razak intends to delegate a team of officials to Indonesia to think about the likelihood of importing cows and rice from South Sulawesi province.


South Sulawesi could export cows to Malaysia if it offered competitive prices, he said when receiving South Sulawesi Governor Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Commander of the Wirabuana Regional Military Command, Maj Gen Amril Amri, and South Sulawesi Provincial Police Chief, Insp Gen Johny Waenal Usman, at his private residence on Saturday (Jun 4).


The governor's entourage also included Commander of the Air Force Operations Command, Vice Marshal R. Agus Munandar, Commander of the Naval Base, Brig Gen Chaidier Patonnory, Chief of the South Sulawesi Appellate Court, Muhammad Ramli, and Chief of the South Sulawesi Provincial Investment Coordinating Board (BKPMD), Irman Yasin Limpo.
