Armenia reports zero cases of African swine fever
 

No cases of African swine fever were reported in Armenia, Chief of the Veterinary Department of the State Food Security Service, Hovhannes Mkrtchyan said.
 
Chairman of the Armenian Agricultural Association, Hrach Berberian, said, “about 40 cases of dangerous viral diseases of domestic animals such as foot-and-mouth disease, blackleg and African swine fever were registered recently.”
 

But according to Mkrtchyan, only two cases of blackleg were reported over the last 20 days in Tavush and Kotayk regions. He said reports on foot-and-mouth disease were being checked.
