Lysine prices show no signs of stabilising in China

Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending June 2.

Lysine producers continued to cut prices as demand stayed sluggish while feed millers limited output with the hog population diminishing.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were lower in the range of RMB8.30-8.50/kg.

Lysine market will likely stay weak with supplies abundant and feed demand slow due to limited hog inventories.

RMB1=US$0.1614 (Jun 3)
