Guangxi receives its first imports of Australian sheep
A total of 1274 Australian last month during the sheep have arrived from Melbourne to Nanning Airport last week. Once the sheep have passed the inspection from the GuangxiEntry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, they will bedelivered to Guangxi Wolong Livestock Co., Ltd'sdesignated quarantine base inFusui, Chongzuo district, for a period of 45 days quarantine.
According to reports, this batch of sheep includes Dorper, Suffolk, Dorset, South Africa Merino and Texel these five breeds of sheep.This is the first time that Guangxi has imported live sheep.
