Lysine market remains buoyant in China
Lysine prices increased further during the week ending May 31.
Major producers of lysine continued to lift price quotes while demand remained firm as supplies were tight. Additionally, firm export demand, in conjunction with stronger prices in Europe, lent further support to China’s lysine market.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were mainly around RMB5/kg.
