Washington, US food company recalls 20,025 pounds of meat, poultry and pork products
King's Command Foods LLC, which is based in Kent, Washington, the United States, is recalling 20,025 pounds of fully cooked, not shelf stable meat and poultry meatballs and pork patties due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, the United States Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) reported.
The products contain egg, milk, and/or wheat and known allergens, which are not declared on the product labels.
Affected items were produced on January 8, January 15 and March 3. These items were distributed for food service use in US states California, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Oregon, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
The problem was discovered when the establishment determined that allergen-containing ingredients may have co-mingled with recalled products that do not normally contain the identified allergens.
