Executive management changes at Yara
Yara International ASA has announced three new members to its executive management group, to improve focus on strategy, innovation and positioning.
"Following recent organisational changes to sharpen operational focus and alignment, these further changes are made to improve our focus on strategy, innovation and positioning," said Svein Tore Holsether, president and CEO of Yara.
The following changes to Yara's corporate management are implemented:
Terje Tollefsen joins Yara's executive management group as chief strategy and business development officer, effective from June 1. Tollefsen is currently head of strategy and business development, reporting to Holsether.
Pierre Herben has been made chief technology officer, effective from June 1.
Lene Trollnes is appointed as chief of human resource, corporate communications and cranding. Trollnes is currently executive vice president (human resource and integration) with Sapa AS, and will take up her new position by December 1.
"I am confident that the changes announced today will further strengthen our integrated business model and long-term profitable growth," Holsether commented.
