ASF kills 22 pigs in Meghalaya, India village

 

 

 

At least 22 pigs died of African swine ever (ASF) in Tiehsaw village of Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills in  Meghalaya, India.

 

Accoding to Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Officer Dr. P. Sohlang, all the pigs are owned by the same person.

 

He added that there is no treatment or cure for ASF. One way to stop infection is to prevent visitors from entering a pigsty.
