Growing demand, tight supply lift China lysine prices
 
 
Lysine prices rose significantly during the week ending May 24.
 
As the prices of soymeal climbed to new yearly high levels, feed producers eagerly expanded inventories while lifting the inclusion rates of lysine in feed formulation.
 
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were mainly around RMB5/kg.
 
The demand for lysine will grow in the coming period.
