Cautious mood holds China lysine prices flat

Lysine prices remained flat during the week ending May 19.

Lysine producers held prices firm amid low inventory pressure. Traders were more willing to negotiate prices on a case-by-case basis in efforts to clear stocks.

Average transacted price remained unchanged.

Feed millers are treading cautiously while the demand for hog feed remains sluggish due to low animal population.
