Adifo appoints new member to Americas sales team

Adifo Software has appointed Thomas H. D'Alfonso to its sales team in the Americas. 

With more than 20 years of product and service development experience from the animal production, health and nutrition industries, D'Alfonso has held technology development positions with Novus, where he helped to develop biological and economical models.

In addition, D'Alfonso also contributed to Adisseo's effort to develop NIR and feed formulation services, including 2 patents. At Danisco / DuPont, he was responsible for the Americas Region of the Animal Health and Nutrition Business, after having developed products and software services in the global R&D department.

Most recently, D'Alfonso served as president and co-founder of Bio-Informatics Optimization, LLC, his consulting and business development company.

He holds advanced degrees from Penn State University (US) in Agricultural and Biological Systems Engineering, Management Science, Operations Research and Statistics.
