Ukraine's cattle number increases by 3.4% on-year

 

 

Ukraine's number of cattle has reached 5.2 million heads in all categories of economy as of April 1, an increase of 3.4% from the same period of last year.

 

The main increase in the number of cattle - 5.2% - has occurred in households. Such an increase in livestock happened due to the payment of subsidies for the maintenance and keeping of young cattle.

 

Already from the beginning of the year, the villagers received UAH63.8 million (US$7.9 million) of grants. This was started by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.
