Hy-Line commemorates 40 years of Taiwanese partnership
Hy-Line International recognised their 40-year partnership with Chensan Poultry at VIV Asia 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand.
"Chensan Poultry's long-time commitment to offering quality W-36, Brown and Silver Brown egg day-old chicks to the Taiwan market make us proud to be their partner," said Jonathan Cade, president of Hy-Line International. "We congratulate them on their long history of success."
40-year-old Chensan is the layer market leader in Taiwan, with a 75% market share. This includes white and brown egg layers. Chensan continues to invest heavily in state-of-the-art infrastructure to maintain its leadership position.
Founded in 1936 by Henry A. Wallace, Hy-Line was the first poultry breeding company to apply the principles of hybridisation to commercial layer breeding. Hy-Line produces and sells both brown and white egg stock to more than 120 countries worldwide and is the largest selling layer company in the American egg industry and around the world.
