China lysine prices rise amid lower output, high cost
  
  
Lysine prices moved higher during the week ending April 21.
   
As one major producer halted production lately, while another have scheduled for its routine maintenance in the near term, lysine market remained firm amid tight availability. 
 
Average transacted price were RMB0.27/kg higher at RMB8.77/kg.
 
Lysine prices are expected to stay strong with the support of the pre-May Day market.
