Pan Kurchak to raise feed output along with poultry production
Ukrainian poultry producer, Pan Kurchak, will raise feed output at two feed mills by 18% this year. The percentage represents a volume of 100,000 tonnes, according to the company.
In order to achieve the production goal, both facilities will be modernised with the help of Evonik which Pan Kurchak have worked with for many years.
The company's move follows the induction of new poultry production capacities which has increased the overall capacity of Pan Kurchak's poultry division to 1.85 million heads of chicken. In fact, it has recently completed the construction of 10 more poultry houses in the village of Holopichi in the Volyn Oblast.
According to Pan Kurchak, surplus feed output will be delivered to the market.
"At the request of the customer, feed can be supplied in bulk, which is useful for farms that use technology (involving) the intensive fattening of animals and birds, or packaging the feed in paper and polypropylene bags of 2, 10, 25 and 40 kg for small buyers," said Pan Kurchak representatives.
