China lysine prices consolidate lower amid slower demand
Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending April 17.
Several feed millers, who have secured ample lysine supplies to last for about a month, held back buying while soymeal prices continued to slide. Some producers cut prices in a bid to move sales although others stood firm while export demand remained robust.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine were at RMB5.40-5.60/kg.
