BAP appoints new market development manager for North America's west coast

The Global Aquaculture Alliance's Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division has expanded its market development team with the appointment of Tim Hogan as BAP's market development manager, representing the west coast of North America.

Hogan comes to BAP with more than 20 years of food manufacturing and retail experience, especially in the supply aspect with bakery, meat and seafood.

Most recently, he acted as regional sales director for a leading US-based seafood importer.

Previously, Hogan served as director (national accounts) for a leading US-based meat supplier. He also spent a number of years working at Sara Lee Corp.

"We are delighted to have Tim and (believe) he will add immediate value," said Peter Redmond, BAP's vice president of market development. "Tim brings a great skill set to us. He understands and personally identifies with GAA's role of advocacy and education along with a deep personal connection to improving the role and image of aquaculture."
