Strengthening demand upholds China lysine prices

Lysine prices stayed stable during the week ending April 14.

As hog prices continued to move higher, hog feed producers were more confident to step up production and stoskpile lysine. Consequently, lysine producers stood firm while more deals were concluded during the period in review.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine stayed firm in the range of RMB8.30-8.60/kg.

Lysine prices are seen stable to higher in the coming weeks.
