Iran and Germany may jointly produce dairy
Iran had negotiated with firms from Germany for a potential cooperation in producing dairy products, Hassan Rokni, the country's Deputy Agriculture Minister, said.
In fact, a number of agreements were signed at a meeting on veterinary medicine. Joint investment with Germany could provide Iran a significant place in export markets.
According to Rokni, Iran could also participate in joint production of poultry and deliver them under European brands.
In addition, Iran's neighbouring countries are importers of dairy and poultry. The country recorded exports at 600,000 tonnes of dairy products in the year to March 19.
