Methionine prices stabilise in China on improved demand

Prices of methionine were stable to higher during the week ending April 11.

Sales of methionine increased at a slow pace while broiler market remained weak.

Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were in the range of RMB27-28.80/kg.

While end-users continue to restock depleted inventories, sales of methionine will remain stable in the near term.
