Ukrainian veterinaries are planning to attest Russian milk processing companies, specifically the quality of Russian cheese supplied to the national market will be examined.
The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine told UKRINFORM about this.
"The State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine is planning to examine the Russian milk processing companies, which supply cheese to the Ukrainian market. Attestation of two enterprises will be held as to their compliance with the norms of the Ukrainian veterinary legislation. In particular, "Karat is one of the largest Russian cheese producers, and the Valio Russia is the Russian subdivision of the leading cheese producer in Finland. The time of holding examinations will be determined in the nearest future," the agency informs.
To remind, last year, the Rosselkhoznadzor carried out a continuous examination of Ukrainian cheese on availability of palm oil. As a result of laboratory investigations, vegetable oil was not revealed in the majority of samples of national cheese. Export of Ukrainian products has been resumed.
