Hamlet Protein opens sales office in China
Hamlet Protein has opened a new sales office in Qingdao, China to support customers in China and Southeast Asia.
The team serving the region has also gained two new members: regional sales manager Lu Kelun and area sales manager Astasit Kaewnanuer.
Specialised in animal husbandry, nutrition, genetics and breeding, Lu Kelun has more than 10 years' experience within feed additive sales to offer to the Chinese market. He will be based at the new office from April 1.

Astasit Kaewnanuer is managing sales in Southeast Asia. Working from Bangkok, he has a background in veterinary medicine and more than 14 years' experience in feed ingredient sales.
Vice president of sales and marketing in Asia, Dr. Yu Feng, says more appointments are planned for 2017.
"Asia's economy is growing rapidly. The lifestyle is also changing, as people demand high quality, safe foods that are free of antibiotics. These factors are driving us to invest more in the region," he explains.
Hamlet Protein has experienced significant sales growth in China and Southeast Asia over the past few years. Product trials in China, Thailand and other parts of the region have confirmed the positive effects of the company's specialty proteins on young animal growth and development.
"Through the sales office in Qingdao, we will be able to provide regional customers with even better support and advice when formulating feed to meet young animal needs," adds Dr. Yu Feng.
