Slow demand improvement fails to lift China methionine prices
Prices of methionine stayed stable during the week ending March 28.
Feed millers expanded inventories cautiously as the bird flu epidemic showed signs of subsiding. Nonetheless, the overall transaction remained limited, resulting in flat prices while supplies were abundant.
For liquid methionine, price quotes remained at RMB18.50-19/kg.
