Feed millers were reluctant to expand calcium phosphate inventories even though broiler prices have rebounded substantially. With piglet reproduction limited by low sow inventories, and the outlook of poultry market uncertain, feed millers kept production low to be on the safe side.
 
Poultry feed demand should increase gradually as the disease situation improves. Calcium phosphate prices are should stabilise in the coming period.
