Sluggish demand, excess supply drag down vitamin A prices in China

Vitamin A buyers continued to stay on the side lines as feed demand showed little improvement. Distributors and traders slashed prices in attempts to clear mounting inventories.
Plentiful supplies will weigh down the prices of vitamin A. However, with prices sliding 15-20% during Q1, producers will be more cautious in cutting prices.
