A bioaugmentation agent in super-intensive marine shrimp farming
This study evaluated the feasibility of using Comambio®, a commercial product for bioremediation, in a super-intensive system of Litopenaeus vannamei with zero water exchange. The bioaugmentation agent reduced the value of settleable solids (SSed), contributed to the growth of shrimp, reduced feed conversion ratio, as well as increased the final biomass of the shrimp.
