5th Global Feed & Food Congress on April 18-20 in Turkey      
   

  

 

The 5th edition of the Global Feed & Food Congress, or GFFC, will be held for the first time in Turkey and bring together the global feed and food chain in Antalya on April 18-20, 2016.

 

With over 65 top-notch speakers confirmed, including CEOs, leaders and experts from global feed and food companies, international organisations and the scientific community, the 5th GFFC will be attended by delegates from around the world.

 

GFFC speakers will provide their insights and expertise in sessions and workshops that cover the whole feed manufacturing and food processing value chain, with a special focus on sustainability, markets and trade, global regulations and trade facilitation, biosecurity along the feed and food chain, animal nutrition, innovation, and R&D.

 

Organised by the International Feed Industry Federation (IFIF) in cooperation with the European Feed Manufacturers' Federation (FEFAC) and hosted by the Turkish Feed Manufacturers' Association (TURKIYEM BIR), with technical support provided by the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), the GFFC has established itself as the leading global event of its kind.

 

"We are delighted that the 5th GFFC will be held in Turkey, which is at the heart of a fast-growing region for the feed and food sector, and we are honoured that the Honourable Faruk Çelik,Minister for Agriculture, will open our proceedings on Monday afternoon, 18 April 2016", said Joel Newman, chairman of the IFIF, which comprises national and regional feed associations, feed-related organisations, and corporate members from around the globe, representing over 80% of the feed production worldwide..

The 5th GFFC will also feature an international exhibition that will bring together over 60 prestigious organisations from the feed and food chain as sponsors and exhibitors, which will showcase their products and services in the dedicated congress facility in parallel to the GFFC plenaries and workshops.

 

The tri-annual Congress was last held in Sun City, South Africa, in 2013.
