BioMar creates new division for Asia

 

 

 

BioMar has announced that it is establishing a fourth division embracing activities in the Asian region, including Vietnam and China.


With over 30 years' experience in aquaculture Francois Loubere will assume the role as vice president Asia, while Luis García Romero will take over the role as managing director for West Mediterranean & Africa.


Following the announcement of the new partnership with Viet-Uc in Vietnam (https://www.efeedlink.com/contents/03-03-2021/f07e6c89-0575-4cb2-b146-1dc3d12b8bb1-a181.html), BioMar has now made changes in executive management announcing a VP for Asia. This role will set the strategic direction for the region and support the integration and further development of the business units.


"The new division for Asia is a milestone on our growth journey. We will, going forward, have a dedicated  focus on the region in our executive management. We expect this change to accelerate our development of the business units and enable a broader commercial focus in the region," explains Carlos Diaz, CEO.


With more than 30 years of experience in BioMar and the aquaculture industry, Loubere has been a key contributor building up the BioMar business unit in West Mediterranean & Africa as well as contributing to several  strategic business development projects. Loubere will join the Executive Committee in BioMar Group.
