Pork carcass volumes increased further, up by over 3% amid recovering pork demand. However, at 8,051 tonnes, overall sales were 3% lower compared with the same period last year. Despite weaker pork consumption, carcass prices increased 0.85% to RMB23.64/kg amid tight availability.
