Cautious mood limits price hikes in China methionine prices
Prices of methionine were stable to higher during the week ending March 16.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine remained in the range of RMB43-45/kg.
As poultry prices stayed weak, feed millers stocked inventories prudently, hence limiting the upward scope of methionine prices.
Prices are seen firm in the coming weeks due to moderately higher poultry feed demand with the approaching of Qingming Festival.
