Substantial rise in China lysine prices
 
 
Lysine prices rose further during the week ending March 13.
 
Corn prices rebounded after the announcement of government subsidies to feed producers. With the costs of production higher and supplies tightened, prices of lysine increased substantially.
 
Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine increased to the range of RMB8-8.70-9/kg.
