Ayurvet showcases new herbal solutions for 2015

On March 12, the second day of VIV Asia 2015, herbal feed and livestock specialist Ayurvet invited associates to a dinner meeting where they were presented with the company's range of new products for the year.

 

Dr. Praful Kumar, Manager, Exports & International Business, gave an overview of these products:

 

Keetguard, a fly control and repellent. Unlike conventional products of its kind, it avoids resistance development in flies by breaking their life cycle.

 

Mastidip, a post-milking dip which ensures proper hygiene and reduces the incidence of mastitis.

 

Respzz, a product containing essential oils for the preventive and therapeutic treatment of respiratory diseases.

 

Salcochek, a treatment for diarrhoea caused by Clostridia bacteria. Positive results from a broiler trial in Greece were also presented to the audience.

 

AGP, an 'alternative growth promoter' product.

 

And according to Dr. Praful, these three products are in highest demand:

 

Methorep, a natural alternative to synthetic methionine. It works by acting as a precursor to the metabolic pathway of methionine.

 

Vilocym Z, a toxin binder growth promoter, which works by engaging the Cytochrome P450 enzyme system.

 

Superliv, a natural liver tonic.
