BEC Feed Solution opens HQ in New Zealand

BEC Feed Solution has officially opened its headquarters in Auckland, New Zealand, demonstrating its commitment to the country's agricultural market.

The development marks a milestone in business growth which witnessed success in the first two years in business.

Under the ownership of BEC - Australia's biggest independent animal pre-mix manufacturer, BEC Feed Solutions NZ specialises in high quality, innovative animal nutrition products, including premixes, feed additives, supplements and feed commodities.

With the new Pukekohe-based office, the company will maintain services to New Zealand's dairy industry, as well as domestic calf rearing, horse breeding, pig, poultry, dry-stock and companion animal sectors.

BEC Feed Solutions NZ is managed by a dedicated New Zealand-based technical team, with more than 20 years' experience in animal nutrition and health, ingredient procurement and related regulatory controls.

According to Trina Parker, BEC NZ's country manager, Pukekohe was selected as the location for the company's Auckland headquarters due to its strong agricultural roots and prime position as a rural supply town.

“We've experienced a tremendous welcome from farmers, vets and retailers since we began operating in New Zealand two years ago,” Parker commented.

Jen McCarty, BEC NZ's technical officer, said the team is looking forward to making visitors feel welcomed at the new office and hosting international guests including animal nutrition experts from Sweden, Singapore and France.

Prior to establishing its Kiwi operation in 2013, BEC Feed Solutions supplied nutritional products – from its Australian base - to key manufacturers in New Zealand market for 25 years.
