Chinese lysine sellers cut prices amid slow trade
Lysine prices were moved lower the week ending March 8.
End-users who have stockpiled inventories before Chinese New Year continued to hold back procurements as feed consumption was slow. Producers and traders were therefore under pressure to cut prices amid mounting inventory pressure.
Price quotes of 70-percent lysine slid to RMB5-5.30 /kg.
