Cobb appoints new member to North America technical service team

Cobb-Vantress has appointed Dr Guadalupe Pardo Gonzalez to the company's technical service team in North America.

Dr Gonzalez will be responsible for technical support to customers in Mexico and Central America.

During his 27-year career in the poultry industry, Dr Gonzalez has acquired a vast array of knowledge in all aspects of the industry from grandparent and parent stock production to hatchery and broiler management.

He joins Cobb from Pilgrims where he served as breeder hatchery manager in Torreon, Mexico. Previously, Dr Gonzalez spent more than 18 years with Tyson de Mexico before it was sold to Pilgrim's Pride.

"The Cobb500 market share in Mexico and Central America has steadily increased in recent years," said Ken Semon, Cobb's technical director for North America. "Cobb product performance excels in this region and with the addition of Dr Pardo, we are solidly positioned to provide the high level of technical support our customers have come to expect and deserve."
