Dr. Srijit of Ayurvet to discuss controlling methane emission by ruminants

Ayurvet's Senior Executive, Dr. Srijit Tripathi, would be discussing ways to reduce the increasing level of methane emission in the environment as a result of a rising ruminant population, at the Pig, Poultry and Dairy Focus Asia 2016.

He would be highlighting the current scenario of methane production at a global level and its contribution by agriculture and ruminant livestock. The different aspects of this methane emission, for example, how this increasing level is going to affect the environment, would also be discussed, as well as a new, alternative approach which will help in overcoming this global problem.

According to the company, it is very much concerned for the well-being of the environment and is therefore continuously working in different sectors to make the environment and society more favourable for life.
