China Trace Minerals: High metal costs lift prices (week ended Feb 22, 2021)
Prices of trace mineral products strengthened as the costs of metal ingredients moved higher.
Copper sulphate export prices surged to US$2.75/kg. Transact prices were stronger in the range of RMB14.75-17.80/kg in China.
Export prices and local transact prices of ferrous sulphate were higher at US$0.18/kg.
Meanwhile, zinc oxide export prices increased to US$2.70/kg.
With the costs of production high, trace mineral markets are poised to remain firm in the coming period.
