Tight supply, strong export perk up China vitamin C prices
Producers lifted vitamin C prices as supply tightened amid reduced output while export demand remained buoyant.
As of February 18, offer prices for pharmaceutical-grade vitamin C increased to RMB28/kg.
Slow feed consumption will decimate the sales of vitamin C in the local market. However, strong export demand will uphold prices amid tight availability.
