New production director for Cobb-Vantress in Brazil
Cobb Vantress has appointed Alvaro Burin, who has 25 years' experience in the poultry industry, as its production director for its Brazilian office.
Burin will be responsible for coordinating activities at the company's farms, hatcheries and feed mill, located in the country as well as the grandparent and great grandparent performance management.
A graduate of Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, Burin has worked for Globoaves, C.Vale Agroindustrial, Tyson Foods and, most recently, JBS Foods where he was agriculture manager for the Rio Grande do Sul region.
