CCPA welcomes new director

CCPA Group's director Jean Jacques Blain has retired, with Erwan Gilet taking his position from February this year.
Blain led the animal health and nutrition specialist for 26 years and is commended for key contributions made to the company. His achievements include:
- a continuous business development in France and overseas, with around 50% of international turnover currently realised,
- the diversification of the company's activities, ranges of products, services and supports, based on a dynamic innovation policy,
- the development of an critical R&D department, making CCPA Group one of the leading companies in private research in animal nutrition and health.
In addition, CCPA's president, Jean Dano, and the board of directors praised Blain's character which helped to build a strong and positive corporate culture.
Blain's replacement, Erwan Gilet, has worked in CCPA Group from 1992 to 1999. An engineer in agro-food industries, he was Quality and Technology Manager with the company, following his previous experience in the French CANA cooperative.
In 1998, he headed to Mexico to lead EURONUTEC - a joint-venture subsidiary of CCPA Group - from 2005 to 2013.
Between 2013 and 2015, he was director of Merieux Nutri-Sciences, in Mexico before returning to France for his current appointment.
