China lysine market shows signs of weakening

Lysine prices were stable to lower during the week ending February 10.

Trade was limited during the period in review as China prepared for the celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year. Expecting competition to be tough after the holidays, a handful of traders and producers in the southern parts of China lowered prices in efforts to entice buyers.

Average prices fell to RMB8.77/kg.
