Demand for hog feed remained poor as rampant disease outbreak continued to haunt the sector. Sales of vitamin C were therefore slow exerting pressure on the market. However, producers were reluctant to slash prices with profit margins limited.
 
Vitamin C prices are likely to slide in the coming period as supply exceeds demand.
