Hog prices failed to strengthen during the week in review, Pork carcass volume remained above 10,000 tonnes while releases of finishing hog expanded. However, with pork demand sluggish even though Chinese New Year was just a fortnight away, slaughterhouses were cautious in making hog procurements.
