China lysine prices stay stable as market prepares for holidays

Lysine prices were unchanged during the week ending February 1.

Transaction volumes were limited as most buyers have stocked ample inventories. Moreover, most feed producers have halted production in preparation for the Chinese New Year holidays.

Price quotes of 98.5-percent lysine were in the range of RMB10.50-11.50/kg.

Lysine prices are expected to drop after the market reopens in the coming week.
