Colombia now allowed to export meat to Cuba

Cuba's National Center for Animal Health (Cenasa) confirmed that Colombia has obtained authorisation to export pork and meat products to the country.

The authorisation also covers the exports of beef, poultry, their derivatives and dairy products.

Cenasa officially recognised and authorised the Colombian sanitary system and that of seven establishments from the pork industry that presented themselves as candidates in an admissibility process.

With the resolution issued by the National Health Center of Cuba, the plants are authorised for two years.
