China methionine market stable but lacks momentum
Prices of methionine were unchanged during the week ending January 22.
Demand for methionine improved as feed producers restocked dwindling inventories. However, sales were not exceptionally strong amid cautious mood. With supplies ample and demand slow, prices of methionine stayed unchanged.
Price quotes of imported dl-methionine were in the range of RMB21.50-22.50/kg, moving lower by RMB0-0.50/kg.
