China methionine prices stable despite light trade
Prices of methionine were stable during the week ending January 24.
Methionine sales were light as poultry feed demand remained low due to the bird flu epidemic. Moreover, several feed millers have halted operation in preparation for the celebration of Chinese New Year. Knowing that sales are unlikely to increase significantly, traders and distributors held prices stable.
