Fancom appoints new director of operations

Fancom BV has appointed Carel Weijand as its new director of operations.

The decision will consolidate Weijand's responsibilities with that of his position in PigTek Europe where he serves as the company's operations manager for the past four years.

At the end of 2014, Fancom and PigTek have entered into a cooperation to offer a complete range of housing equipment to pig farmers worldwide.

In his latest role, Weijand will be in charge of the operational management of both companies. He possesses an extensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, personal development and connecting departments and companies.

Weijand graduated from the Higher Nautical College in Vlissingen, the Netherlands, and has completed a MBA at the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin, Germany.
