ForFarmers appoints new COO

 

ForFarmers has appointed Adrie van der Ven as its COO. The appointment will be effective from February 1 onwards.

Van der Ven will be responsible for activities in Belgium and Germany, as well as ForFarmers' international expansion beyond the current key regions.

He is currently CEO of the Animal Nutrition Business Unit at Louis Dreyfus Commodities in Singapore. He previously worked with Hendrix UTD (Nutreco), and had served as Animal Nutrition Purchasing Director at Nutreco.

Van der Ven will succeed Ronald van de Ven, COO of ForFarmers Belgium and Germany.

Ronald, a member of the ForFarmers Management Board since 2012, has played a crucial role in the integration of Hendrix UTD within ForFarmers, following a takeover in 2012.
