North China's Hebei province targets a grain yield of 32 billion kilogrammes in 2012, up 225 million kg from 2011 levels, sources reported.
The province will also strive to produce more than 80 million tonnes of vegetables in the same period. Its meat, eggs and aquatic products output is set to reach 4.76 million tonnes, 3.83 million tonnes and 1.21 million tonnes, up 7%, 4.4% and 8% on-year respectively
Meanwhile, east China's Anhui province aims to produce 31.5 billion kg of grain in 2012, representing an increase of 150 million kg from a year earlier, according to the local government.
